Luke is an avid sports fan and has at least a passing interest in almost all sports, mainstream and otherwise. One of his first sporting memories is staying up late to watch Rhona Martin throw the ‘Stone of Destiny’ as she led Great Britain to Curling Olympic Gold in Salt Lake City in 2002. He also has a love for all things Sunderland AFC related and until recently followed them home and away, all across the country. Away from Sunderland, his biggest sporting love is for boxing. An avid follower of the sport on all levels, he found his love for it after following Amir Khan at the Athens Olympics in 2004.
