Rodtang vs. Mighty Mouse Bout Announced
Rodtang vs. Mighty Mouse has been announced as a special rules bout for ONE X on the 5th of December.
Following his loss against Adriano Moraes, Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson is looking to make his return to the ONE Championship Cage.
Agreeing to a bout against the ONE Muay Thai Flyweight Champion Rodtang ‘Iron Man’ Jitmuangnon, the two are set to meet on the 5th of December in a special rules bout.
Rodtang vs. Mighty Mouse is to be split between Muay Thai and MMA rules, with the first round as Muay Thai, the second round as MMA, and so forth.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon is a Thai superstar, known for his constant pressure and devastating striking. Ranked as the No.1 Pound for Pound Muay Thai fighter, his unbreakable jaw lets him walk through his opponents, breaking them down in an exciting show of ferocity.
Demetrious Johnson was the inaugural and former UFC Flyweight Champion, as well as the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix Champion. Johnson is often in the running when discussing the best MMA fighters of all time, with UFC Commentator Joe Rogan citing him as the No.1 MMA fighter of all time.
Rodtang had previously offered a kickboxing bout to Demetrious Johnson, however the latter understandably declined.
According to Chatri Sityodtong, CEO of ONE Championship, Johnson accepted this bout immediately. Rodtang vs. Mighty Mouse is truly one of a kind, with no other matchup under these kinds of rules.
Fighters will alternate between aggression and defense, as each enters the ruleset where they are strongest.
Rodtang has never competed in Mixed Martial Arts, so it will be interesting to see how the striker fares against one of the best grapplers in MMA history. Alternatively, Demetrious Johnson loses the ability to shoot for his iconic takedowns, forcing him into a striking match with the Iron Man.
