Euro 2020: France vs Switzerland Preview

France will have to overcome their current injury crisis if they are to beat Switzerland tonight in Bucharest. Didier Deschamps will be without both left-backs Hernandez and Digne who both came off injured in their final group game against Portugal. Dembele is also now out of the tournament after a knee injury, while Thuram, Lemar and Rabiot are all nursing injuries.

Switzerland on the other hand, have a full squad fit for the match, and come into the game off the back of a 3-1 win over Turkey. While France come off the back of back to back draws against Hungary and Germany.

France came out winners in what was described as the group of death, without losing a game. They managed to pick up a combined four points from Germany and Portugal. As for Switzerland they qualified as one of the four best third-placed teams, racking up four points in group A.

The winner will go onto play either Croatia or Spain who play in the early kick off this evening.
