The meeting in Berkshire is a pilot event, in which 12,000 spectators will be able to go to the races which is the most in the last 15 months.
The first race to kick off the week is the Queen Anne Stakes at 2:30pm. A 1 mile race where Palace Pier appears to be the overwhelming favourite at 4/9, with a certain Frankie Dettori as his jockey.
I cannot wait to see everyone later today at #RoyalAscot.

Group 1s, King’s Stand Stakes at 3:40pm looks set to be a classic where last year’s winner, Battaash is expected to once again reign supreme. However he does have to try and shake off the 298 days since his last race.
Her Majesty The Queen’s horse, King’s Lynn is also represented in the 3:40pm race. Her horse is trained by Betway ambassador Andrew Balding who said that “There are obviously question marks about Battaash but beyond him, it looks set to be a good race”.
Tea time, 5 pm is the Ascot Stakes. a two and a half miles race where the best jumpers usually dominate. Willie Millin has won four of the last nine, who saddles three horses again. However, it’s last year’s winner Couer De Lion who is the favourite for this one, jockeyed by Thore Hammer Hansen.
The last race of the day will start at 6:10, The Copper Horse Stakes. It looks set to be another wide open race, where Willie Mullin saddles the favourite, Grade 1 winning hurdler Saldier.
With record crowds set to head down to Ascot today and every day over the next week, this year’s Royal Ascot looks set to be one to remember.
