5 Liverpool Players who could Leave this Summer
5 Liverpool Players who could Leave this Summer
Harry Wilson
Harry Wilson secured a loan deal to Cardiff City on deadline day to get regular game time and a chance to be picked for the Euros in the summer.
The midfielder has had a couple of months in the Wales capital, scoring 3 and assisting 5 from 16 appearances.
With the addition of Jota and Minamino signing for the Reds, there was no real squad role for Wilson at the club.
The Welsh midfielder also had links to Sheffield United and Leeds United but instead chose to move to the Championship with Cardiff City.
The 23-year-old nearly joined Burnley on a permanent deal on deadline day but a financial fee could be agreed between both clubs.
Harry Wilson has a contract with Liverpool till the end of the season but the Reds have no plans on keeping Wilson for the future. Wilson is wanted by many clubs and will hope he can settle down at the end of the season to secure a move permanently.

Xherdan Shaqiri
Shaqiri joined Liverpool in 2018 from stoke for £13.5m but has only made 35 appearances for the Reds.
The Switzerland international is likely to stay at Anfield until the end of the season but could leave in the summer with Sevilla, Roma and Galatasaray all interested in the winger.
The 29-year-old has proven to be a valuable player within the Liverpool squad, during the past couple of years and has had some memorable moments with the club, including the double he scored against Manchester United.
Since his time at Anfield, Shaqiri has picked up multiple injures which has prevented him from seeing regular game time.
The midfielder is also competing with the front 3 of Salah, Firmino and Mane, which has made it more difficult for him considering the form they are in.

Divock Origi
Divock Origi has struggled this season to find his feet. The Belgian striker has been restricted to just three appearances this season with all three coming off the bench and has not been included in the squad in four of Liverpool’s 17 games.
Origi could leave Liverpool sooner than the summer transfer window, with the January window pending. The 25-year-old is hoping to play regular football, to be part of Belgium’s squad for next summer’s Euro.
Wolves and Leeds are both interested in the striker and hope to secure a move in the January transfer window.
Origi was one of Liverpool’s important players last season, scoring some massive goals which led to them winning the Champions League and Premier League. However, this season the 25-year-old has struggled to claim a spot in the squad.
.@JamesPearceLFC: "Incomings unlikely this month. In terms of outgoings, LFC prepared to listen to offers for Divock Origi but no suitable offers so far and happy to keep him until the end of the season." #awlfc [the athletic]

Adrian
Liverpool signed former West Ham keeper Adrian to replace Simon Mignolet who joined Club Bruges.
The Spaniard came in as a free transfer and was put straight into the squad to replace number 1 keeper Allison, who struggled with injuries.
The 34-year-old has found himself out of favour this season, mainly down to a lot of individual mistakes, conceding seven against Aston Villa and two versus Everton.
Adrian has missed 15 of Liverpool’s 17 league games played including both the Champions League clashes with Ajax and FC Midtjylland.
Jurgen Klopp has found a new backup in youngster Kelleher who has helped Liverpool massively since Allison has been out injured. The Irish goalkeeper has made 3 appearances in all competitions and only conceded 1 goal.

Gini Wijnaldum
Gini Wijnaldum is in the final moments of his contract at Liverpool and there are no talks of a deal being signed for the Dutch midfielder.
La Liga giants Barcelona are leading the race which Wijnaldum is keen on if a deal cannot be agreed. Ronald Koeman is a big admirer of the 30-year-old.
Wijnaldum who joined the Reds in July 2016 is on course to leave Anfield as a free agent in the summer. Having won the Premier League and Champions League with the club.
With the number and quality of players leaving Liverpool, it leaves some open space in the dressing room for new players to come in.
