Manchester United: How their season has gone so far
Manchester United: Results so far
Manchester United have got their 2020/21 Premier League season well underway. But it is still clear that United fans remain divided on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their manager.
So far, United have only secured one victory at Old Trafford in the Premier League, against West Brom. The Red Devils have lost three games at home, one of which included a 6-1 defeat to Spurs.
On the back of their heavy defeat, Ole’s side went on to defeat Newcastle 4-1 away from home, before travelling to Paris to defeat PSG 2-1 again. But the defeat to Arsenal, with just 13 points from seven games has left fans questioning the managers managerial skills.
He will do well as director of football.
Ole has no tactics. I've never seen ole change a game at HF or make a match changing sub. He does routine changes. Waits until 75mins then brings pogba and cavani on.I remember Tottenham leading United 2-0 at HT. Fergie won 5-2

Possible sacking?
According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United were in touch with ex-Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino after their recent defeat in the Champions League.
Fortunately for Ole, the Red Devils managed to secure three points against Everton. Bruno Fernandes found the back of the net twice, before assisting Edinson Cavani for his first goal. Since then, the limelight has come off from the manager for now.

What the manager says
Solskjaer has previously vented his frustrations at the schedule his team have, emphasising the lack of rest they were given.
“How can you expect players to perform to the best of their ability when you set us up at 12:30 today, absolute joke.” he said.
“How can we defend the product and the quality of the product? They [Fred and McTominay] were fantastic all day long but the rest, tired. Our boys were set up to fail today.”
If United were to suffer injuries, it could be detrimental to Solskjaer’s plans for the rest out of the season.

What next?
United play at Old Trafford against İstanbul Başakşehir F.K in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday. Once again depending on the result of this game, the Norwegian manager will be hoping his players can take the pressure off from him.
Can Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provide results to keep his job as United boss? As the season continues, this next long stretch of games will be crucial for the manager in getting the best out of his side and get them further up the table.
