The broadcast line-up announced this week includes a wide range of established personalities in the world of boxing, sport and entertainment including TV presenter Maya Jama alongside established boxing commentator Mike Costello, Andy Lee, Laura Woods, former WBC Cruiserweight World Champion Tony Bellew, Darren Barker and Chris Lloyd.
DAZN who have recently signed a new five-year global deal with Matchroom Boxing, take over broadcasting rights for their shows in the UK & Ireland from Sky Sports in July ahead of their three Fight Camp shows in July, with Matchroom’s media arm Matchroom Media taking full control over production of their events.
In what is seen as a major coup in this deal, BBC Radio Five Live boxing commentator Mike Costello will join alongside Andy Lee and Tony Bellew on the commentary team with Bellew also part of the live presentation. Maya Jama and Laura Woods will be new hosts for Matchroom’s events for DAZN UK, with Darren Barker and Chris Lloyd bringing pre-match analysis to DAZN’s coverage.
So can’t wait to start work! The rest has been good and it’s now time to embark on a new journey with @DAZNboxing and @matchroomboxing pulling together the A squad for THE global home of boxing. Game. Changed. pic.twitter.com/WWniv8xxo0

Chairman for Matchroom boxing, Eddie Hearn spoke of his delight in putting together the talent roster for future Matchroom events. After the announcement he said: “I couldn’t be prouder of this team of talent that we have assembled for our ground-breaking new project. The launch of Matchroom Media has enabled us to form a cradle to grave mindset across inception to completion of our shows so we can deliver the live event experience to the viewer in the narrative and style in which we have built it.”
Fight Camp will take place across three weekends from July 31st to August 14th as Conor Benn takes on Adrian Granados, Kid Galahad taking on Jazza Dickens in a rematch for the IBF featherweight title and Joshua Buatsi also headlines on the final night of Fight Camp against Latvia’s Ricard Bolotniks.
