Sheffield Wednesday Transfer News: Josh Windass and Elias Kachunga join The Owls
Sheffield Wednesday bolstered their attacking force yesterday ahead of the upcoming Championship season. Josh Windass and Elias Kachunga both signing permanent deals at Hillsborough.
The pair take Wednesday up to five signings this summer; along with Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Chey Dunkley and Izzy Brown.
Windass rejoins the Owls after spending the second half of last season on loan from Wigan. The fee is rumoured to be for around £500,000, something that will help Wigan in their current financial state.

Kachunga joins on a free after his contract expired at fellow Yorkshire side Huddersfield Town. Kachunga was part of the Huddersfield side that shocked the Championship and ended up promoted to the Premier League, defeating his new team Wednesday in the play-off semi-finals.
Both signings come as a great boost to the Owls, who started the pre-season with only one recognised striker, Jordan Rhodes; after Steven Fletcher, Fernando Forestieri, Sam Winnall and Atdhe Nuhiu all left in the summer.
