Charles Leclerc has signed a 5 year contract with Ferrari

 

Charles Leclerc the 22 year old Formula One driver has signed a new 5 year contract with Ferrari after a successful first season.

 

The F1 driver from Monaco won back to back races in Italy and Belgium. Charles Leclerc beat team mate Sebastian Vettel in the overall standings, finishing fourth.

 

Charles Leclerc Tweeted:

“Extremely happy to announce that I will be staying with @scuderiaferrari for 5 more years.”

“I’ve learnt so much during this first year with the team and it is a great starting point to build a strong relationship for the years ahead.”

Charles Leclerc GP3 and FIA Formula 2

Leclerc competed in in the GP3 Series Championship in 2016 and the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2017, winning both.

Charles Leclerc made his Formula One debut in 2018 with the Alfa Romeo Sauber team. He finished 13th in the standings that year with 39 points in 21 races.
